Console Tour
The operator console lives at app.placeoptimizer.com. Sign-in is invite-only: accounts are provisioned by invitation (magic link) or Google sign-in for an invited address, and every new user gets their own organization. After signing in you land on the dashboard.
Overview (/dashboard)
The dashboard is a module grid — the entry point to every surface in the console. Each card links to its real route:
| Module | Route | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Health | /dashboard/health | Run a GBP audit and review scored results |
| Locations | /locations | Manage every store location, posts, reviews, and profile health |
| Google Business Profile | /dashboard/connections | The connected Google account and its verified locations |
| Reviews | /locations | Reply to and monitor customer reviews across every location |
| Settings | /dashboard/settings | Organization, billing, and account preferences |
| GEO Ranking | — | Continuous geo-grid rank tracking — coming soon |
| Citations | — | India directory presence (JustDial, Sulekha) — coming soon |
Roadmap modules are clearly labelled and never show fabricated data behind them.
Health (/dashboard/health)
The audit runner. From here you submit an audit for a brand, watch it run, and review the scored result. The page shows a provider strip (Google Places, SerpAPI, DataForSEO) when you have permission to see it, so an empty or failed audit is distinguishable from an exhausted provider balance. Completed runs appear in a history table; the newest run lands at the top and expands automatically.
Locations (/locations)
Every store location the connected Google account manages, as a card grid. Each location shows its health score and data source. A Bulk edit button in the header links to the bulk CSV workflow. Opening a location takes you to its per-location surface:
- Overview — the location's profile: NAP details, categories, hours, website.
- Health — the location's health checks and issues.
- Posts — the Google Business Profile posts published on that location.
- Reviews — the reviews for that location, with rating, text, and author.
- GEO Ranking — the location's city in the latest completed audit run: its Google map-pack rank, whether the brand appears in the pack, the average score across every audited location in that city, and how many were audited there. The run and its date are named on the panel, because these figures belong to that run rather than to a continuous feed. Map-pack rank only appears when the run included the deep review audit with a snapshot; without it the panel says so instead of showing a number. Continuous geo-grid rank tracking, which samples rank across a grid of points on a schedule, is still on the roadmap.
Bulk edit (/locations/bulk)
The flagship workflow: export every location to CSV, edit it in a spreadsheet, then preview the field-level diff and apply it selectively. The full 16-column format is documented in Bulk CSV.
Reports (/dashboard/reports)
Every client-facing report the console can produce, as type cards plus a history table of generated reports. Reports are the HTML + PDF artefacts of the audit engine, ready to share with a client.
Settings (/dashboard/settings)
- General — workspace basics.
- Google Account — the connected Google identity used for GBP data.
- Organizations — the organizations you belong to, and the active one.
- Members — invitations and roles for your organization (owner, admin, member).
- Billing — INR/GST subscription plans, invoices, and payment history (Razorpay).
- Connected apps — the external data services PlaceOptimizer calls to run audits (Google Places, SerpAPI, DataForSEO) and their status. A failed read here means a key is missing or a balance is exhausted — not that a brand has no listings.
- Devices — the active sessions signed in to your account, with the ability to revoke them.
- Branding — report branding preferences.
- Usage — usage information for your account.
The free audit funnel
The free audit is the wedge that feeds the platform: a prospect enters a brand name on placeoptimizer.com/free-audit, receives a scored snapshot, and if they want deeper management, they become a design partner. See The free audit.
